Hotel Le Monal is situated between the best french alps' ski resort : Sainte Foy Tarentaise, Val d'Isère, Les Arcs, La Rosière, Tignes, La Plagne. It is situated in the Savoy region, situated on the principal road that services the ski resorts of the Tarentaise and at the cross-roads of the internationally renowned resorts of Tignes, Val d'Isere, Les Arcs and La Rosiere, and at the foot of the little resort of Sainte Foy. This ancient tavern and way-post (Poste et Diligence) has been in the caring hands of the Arpin family since 1888, thus five generations of inn-keepers, and continues the tradition of a warm-spirited convivial welcome. In the Sixties, Michel Arpin (representing France in the 1968 Winter Olympics, coach of Jean-Claude Killy and friend of Lionel Terray) with his brother Guy, impressed upon Le Monal a strong mountain identity closely tied to ski-ing. More recently, to better meet the demands of their clients, the family have entirely renovated the hotel in a traditional style, with a contemporary flair and an eye for luxury; using the knowledge and experience of local craftsmen and women, and also due to the support of the Regional Council and the General Council of The Savoy Region. Hotel offers a restaurant, snack, wine cellar and a bar. For all online reservations, we charge 5 € fixed reservation fee in case of cancellation.
